“Broadway or Bust” Hits PBS This Weekend
And another hundred actors just got off of the train…
OK, so that isn’t the correct lyric, but there are times when it seems like New York is awash in a steady stream of young Broadway hopefuls. Think I’m exaggerating? Watch another 60 VERY young aspiring music theater performers try to make their theatrical dreams come true on PBS three-part series Broadway or Bust.
Starting this Sunday at 8/7c, the documentary (that’s PBS for “reality show”) will follow students aiming to win the two grand prizes at The National High School Musical Theater Awards. Judging by the preview below, it’s sure to be filled with taps, tears and top notes that would make Tony-nominees a little jealous.
