For a show with a focus on marriage equality, mark your calendars for this one night only event: the reading of Dustin Lance Black’s play 8. The staged reading follows the story of the legalization of same-sex marriage in California, and Proposition 8, which banned it, once again. Look for an all-star cast, including Anthony Edwards, Morgan Freeman, and Cheyenne Jackson. After the Broadway reading, the play will be licensed to schools and community organizations to spread the message throughout the USA.
