The past few weeks have seen a flurry of announcements around shows reopening and even new productions planning their Broadway debuts. The swirl of news stories have detailed ticket policies, COVID protocols, performance dates, and more. It’s a lot to process, and as Trina sings in Falsettos, we’re all just “holding to the ground as the ground keeps shifting.” Where should excited audiences go to get the most recent, consolidated information? Fortunately, as with many things, there’s an app for that.
The Broadway app already has a wealth of information, including ticket price ranges, rush policies, a breakdown of productions by genre, and other show details. To give audiences a place to find trusted information as events and news continue to evolve, the app now has a Show Tracker feature to share when performances are returning and which ones currently have tickets on sale. More functionalities are to come as more details are shared are Broadway gears up to fully reopen come September. To download the app, find it in both Apple and Android (Google Play) app stores.
