Broadway goes dark amid the coronavirus pandemic, and some shows may not recover. It’s been dubbed ” the worst crisis the industry has faced since the attack on the World Trade Center in 2001,” according to The New York Post.
While some shows may be able to weather the storm, others may postpone until the fall or lose all momentum for opening on The Great White Way. The Post predicts that The Minutes will likely close and not return, Sing Street may open in the fall, and even The Phantom of the Opera may be at risk.
The Broadway Blog will share more details as they become available.
