In the face of one of the world’s most horrific events, the small Canadian island of Newfoundland welcomed 38 planes and 7,000 passengers who were grounded after the attacks on the World Trade Center. The story of these communities served as the inspiration for the Tony Award-winning musical Come From Away. A diverse ensemble of 12 actors bring the events to life, reminding us that even at our darkest hour, a deep sense of empathy, compassion and humanity unites us all.
