Grab a chair: “Broadway’s living room” is celebrating a decade of singular guests, concerts, and performances. Feinstein’s/54 Below’s tenth-anniversary series, titled 10 Years of 54 Below, will begin performances in January 2022 with the venue’s Creative and Programming Director, Be More Chill producer Jennifer Ashley Tepper, overseeing the program.
The venue’s official opening night was on June 5, 2012, headlined by Tony Award winner Patti LuPone. Since then, the guests have been equally illustrious, lending the stage to Broadway legends and rising stars alike. Broadway performers such as Annaleigh Ashford, Laura Benanti, Norbert Leo Butz, Christine Ebersole, Norm Lewis, Lindsay Mendez, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Bebe Neuwirth, Chita Rivera, Lea Salonga, Aaron Tveit, and Lillias White have graced Feinstein’s/54 Below’s stage alongside leading composers, cabaret singers, and more.
Located beneath the famed Studio 54 — once a famous dance club and now home to one of Roundabout Theatre Company’s Broadway venues — Feinstein’s/54 Below is a Broadway supper club, cabaret lounge, and special events venue. Over the past decade, the destination has received glowing press, including from The New York Times, who wrote, “The club has the intimacy of a large living room with unimpeded views and impeccable sound; there is not a bad seat. It’s an intimate must-attend clubhouse for New York’s closely knit musical-theater community and its supporters.”
To commemorate ten years of serving the Broadway community, Feinstein’s/54 Below will present 10 Years of 54 Below, a special monthly concert series to celebrate the best of the past decade. Programming and performers are still to be announced, but get a taste of what’s to come next year below:
