One of the most thrilling arrivals on Broadway this spring is the transfer of Fun Home from its off Broadway run at the Public Theater last year. Tony Award-winner Michael Cerveris, three time Tony Award nominee Judy Kuhn, Beth Malone, Obie Award-winner Sydney Lucas, Emily Skeggs, Joel Perez and Roberta Colindrez reprise their roles from the sold-out run.
Based on Alison Bechdel’s best-selling graphic memoir, Fun Home follows the story of Alison as she rummages through old boxes and discovers memories of her uniquely dysfunctional family – her mother, brothers and her volatile, brilliant, enigmatic father – who each connect with her in surprising and revealing new ways. Fun Home is a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and already the winner of five theatrical awards for Best Musical.
