She will stand in the dark for you! Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812‘s Ingrid Michaelson will ring in the holidays with the New York Pops on December 16 and 17 at Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. The concert will be led by New York Pops Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke. Coming straight off of rave reviews for her debut original musical, The Notebook at Chicago Shakespeare Theater for which she composed the score, Michaelson returns to New York for these two very special evenings.
Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree on Friday, December 16 at 8 PM. features The New York Pops and Ingrid Michaelson together with Judith Clurman’s Essential Voices USA in a program of classic holiday carols and modern favorites including “Merry Christmas, Happy New Year,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”. The following evening, Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 8 PM, is Winter Song: A Holiday Evening with Ingrid Michaelson, a one-night only program featuring classic holiday tunes, festive songs from Ingrid’s holiday album Songs for the Season, plus some of her original fan favorites. Both concert evenings feature appearances by special guests and a performance of an original new single, releasing this month.
