Pride Month approaches! Each June, the Broadway and theater artists plays a large role in celebrating the LGBTQ community, and this year will be no different, even during a pandemic. A common indicator of Pride each year are the rainbow bars atop each Playbill program — but with Broadway not set to reopen to full capacity until September 14, the famed publisher had to find a new way to celebrate.
Playbill, in partnership with Cadillac and The Neon Coven, will present its first-ever live concert event in celebration of Pride 2021. The event, entitled Glimmer of Light, will take place on Thursday, June 17 at Radial Park in Halletts Point, Queens. The event will stream for free the following week on Playbill.com and the company’s YouTube page.

In-person tickets to Glimmer of Light are sold in socially distanced pods and are now available at Playbill.com. All ticket sales will go to benefit Born This Way Foundation, with the mission of working with young people to build a kinder and braver world.
