Sutton Foster is lighting up City Center with a brand new concert, premiering April 28. Joining Foster will be Raúl Esparza, Joaquina Kalukango, Kelli O’Hara, and Wren Rivera.
Foster made her Broadway debut as a replacement in the original company of Les Misérables and has since appeared in a total of 11 Broadway shows, winning two Tony Awards for Thoroughly Modern Millie and Anything Goes.
Foster is scheduled to return to Broadway this fall opposite Hugh Jackman in what has become a controversial revival of The Music Man. Producer Scott Rudin, facing allegations of creating a toxic work environment and abusive behavior, has since “stepped back” from the production, and Foster released a statement regarding the circumstances.
Beyond Foster’s return to Broadway, the multi-talented actress recently wrapped the seventh and final season of “Younger” on TV Land.
