Every third Wednesday of the month, a fabulous actor/singer/dancer fills out contributor Tom Mizer’s nosey little questionnaire and offers a glimpse of what he looks like from a bit closer than the mezzanine. Extra special thanks must go to Andrew Glaszek, who is not only a former buff himself, but the man who helps find our talented men each month. For December, we’ve got an extra-talented, extra-handsome, extra-special package to put under your Christmas tree…
Name: Charlie Williams

The best & worst parts of doing Peter Pan Live on television were: The worst part was the commute. We filmed in a sound stage out in Bethpage, Long Island. It’s a little over an hour commute each way on the Long Island Railroad. That means a lot of early mornings in Penn Station and a lot of late nights on the train. I live in Hell’s Kitchen so I’m not used to such a long commute! The best part was definitely the people. We had such a special cast and I really feel like we all became true friends through the entire process. I miss them all!
When I was a performer at the Kennedy Center Honors (airing Tuesday, December 30th on CBS), I was most starstruck meeting: Pentatonix. I’m a huge Pentatonix fan and we were dancing backup for them on the honors this year! It was great meeting them and finding out that they’re just as cool and down to earth as they seem to be.
If I wasn’t a performer, I would be: I would love to own my own design firm and help facilitate the design and completion of artistic spaces. Or a fire fighter.
Places, Intermission or Curtain Call? Places! There’s nothing like hearing the places call at the top of the show. It’s theater magic! By the time intermission rolls around I’m usually sweaty and by curtain call I’m ready for a cocktail.
The best post-show cocktail in New York City is at: On The Rocks on the 10th Ave and 48th Street. I love that place! It’s a small bar, but they carry some of the best bourbons/whiskeys in the city. Yum!
After you’ve hit all the traditional sites of New York City, you should totally go to: The East Village! I love an adventure down there! I always seem to stumble across a cool bar or shop that I never knew about before. I guarantee you that you’ll always find something interesting to do in the East Village.
If I could live anywhere else in the world it would be: Southern California. I feel like I’ll make my way down there one day and have a place near the beach. I need the ocean in my life.
When it starts to get cold in the city, I start dreaming of: Summer on Fire island. It’s my favorite thing.
My workout “secret” is: Consistency. Just show up and then keep showing up. That’s all you need to do. Shh! Don’t tell anyone!
When I’m looking for a date, nothing attracts me more than: Confidence and Honesty. I like people who seem comfortable in their own skin and who have nothing to prove.
My favorite website to visit that you may not have heard of is: I’m still loving Jetsetter.com. Haha! I’m sure most people already know about it, but I loving going on there and dreaming about taking an exotic vacation.
Board shorts, speedo or skinny dip? Definitely Speedo! Board shorts are too much for the beach and skinny dipping gives everything away. Tan lines are hot. You’ve got to keep people wanting more. Thanks, Gypsy Rose Lee!
People would be surprised to learn that I: . . . . . . Never Saw Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion. . . I know, I know. My gay card needs to be taken away. I need to see that movie!
When I was 10, I wanted to be just like: Robin Williams. I was obsessed with Mrs. Doubtfire. I convinced myself that we were related because of our last names. He was a one of a kind guy. I wish I could have met him.
Ten years from now I’d like to be: Married with a dog.
The best holiday gift I ever got was: A ramp that I could go over on my roller blades that my Dad built for me. It was the most AWESOME thing I’ve ever received. It was blue with two white racing strips over the top and it completely surprised me when I saw it under the tree on Christmas morning.
