The fifth annual TheaterMakers Summit, held this year on November 6 and 7 with a special bonus day on November 8, announced the addition of 50 new theater makers to its illustrious roster. Led by Tony Award-winning producer Ken Davenport (Once On This Island), the TheaterMakers Summit will be held virtually this year for all participants and viewers.
The weekend event unites professional producers, directors, artists, actors, and others with aspiring theater makers to learn the business of Broadway. In a statement, Davenport said, “We’re so excited to celebrate our fifth year of The TheaterMakers Summit with our biggest and best event yet. As our curtains rise once again, never has there been a more important time to talk about how to make better theater and how to make the theater better.” All events will be ASL-interpreted.
